The Kortal Race Mips is designed to protect before, during and after an accident. Extended protection zones around the temples and back of the head cover more of the areas most at risk in a crash, while aramid bridges molded into the liner add structural stability and penetration protection. Mips Integra rotational impact protection is built in, along with a RECCO® Reflector to help rescue services locate you and an integrated Twiceme® NFC Medical ID that stores your vital medical information and emergency contacts. The adjustable, detachable peak raises high enough to store goggles underneath, rear vents double as a secure spot for sunglasses, and no vents are covered by a goggle strap, so you stay cool even when pushing hard. The helmet is certified to the Dutch NTA 8776 electric bicycle helmet standard as well as EN 1078.
